Exhibit 2006 11

It's not often these days that a potential exhibit for the Hall of Shame really stands out from the crowd. Luckily, every now and then along comes an effort like this one.

The first thing that strikes the eye is the strange luminous bluey-green ink used. This is closely followed by the surreal shape of the surname part of the signature.

You'd think that an up-and-coming forger would throw such a malformed effort straight in the bin and try again, especially as the photo itself looks to be a computer print. But no, this piece is proudly listed on eBay, complete with a COA.

Rating:
C for effort
B for artistic merit (surrealist masterpiece)
