Exhibit 2006 09

The Hall of Shame is proud (or perhaps "ashamed" would be more appropriate) to welcome our first exhibit dedicated to James Lovell. Here we have an excellent first edition copy of his book "Lost Moon" across which some half-wit has apparently decided to scrawl a very stilted 'copy' of Lovell's signature.

You can almost picture the 'artist' clutching the pen in his sweaty fist, tongue clasped between teeth, and eyes bulging in concentration as he drags out each wobbly pen stroke, eyes flicking nervously between the effort on the page and the original signature...

Very sad indeed.

Rating:
E for effort (very shaky)
E for artistic merit (no merit at all I'm afraid)
